Cezanne at Tate Modern

Paul Cezanne - Bathers c.1894-1905. Presented by The National Gallery purchased with a special grant and the aid of the Max Rayne Foundation 1964

We visited the Cezanne exhibition at Tate Modern. One of the most highly regarded artists of the late 19th century, the influence of Paul Cezanne (1839-1906) continues to this day. The exhibition includes his portraits of those around him, his radical studies of bathers and still life paintings of apples, perhaps his most famous subject.
